The European Commission has made public fresh study on the social media platforms Facebook and Instagram (Meta group), which tries to influence age verification requirements and encourage children to get addicted.
European Commissioner Thierry Breton stated, “We do not know that this is enough to mitigate risks related to the physical and mental health of young Europeans on their territory,” as cited in a communication in accordance with the European Digital Services Commitments (DSA).
