US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken stated that Washington is examining new approaches to dealing with the Hamas movement, saying, “Hamas has caused a great deal of suffering and death to the Palestinians.”
The American minister emphasized Washington’s hope about completing an exchange agreement between Israel and Hamas, emphasizing the urgency of securing a truce agreement in the Gaza Strip and said that he will address governance in Gaza after the conflict during his current tour to the Middle East.
It is worth noting that Blinken landed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia today, Wednesday, at the start of a Middle East visit to discuss efforts to establish a truce in the Gaza war, as tensions between Washington and its ally, Israel, rise.
